I have replace every thing but igniter and pulse coils which are in spec. Timing us on farthest mark from TDC (Top Dead Center). Compressiin is at 123. Tries 5 jet sizes smaller. Changed fuel mix. Tried all needle settings but can't get top end to run with out rapping sound, surging and blowing gas out tail pipe. Tried to load a vid but wont let me.

Pictures would be nice. I would like to the fuel system, pump and lines. Also a picture of the carb and one of the overall Engine. Then we can go from there.

I uploaded the video to photo bucket. I will get photos of fuel system tomorrow. The stock fuel tank and pump were gone when I got it. Currently has a old Kawasaki tank I picked up on it.

Your running a DG exhaust so that eliminates a plugged exhaust. Does not sound that bad to me. Ya know you are dealing with a old school 2 cycle Engine. Don't compare it to a modern 2 cycle. I would take it out and open it up. I'm sure all the low rpms has loaded up the lower end. It will probably run like crap until you open it up and clear out the bottom end. Read up on doing plug checks at loe throttle mid and WOT (Wide Open Throttle). This will tell you if you are jetted properly. I would start there.

You do have a air filter correct. You need to tune with in on.

Is the fuel filter in line with the flow in right direction?

Thank you rmesser, I do appreciate it. It took an hour or so but it did finally clear out. Now prob is my dang dog wanted a chew toy so I need a new air filter.

Put some hoses on the vents and drain on the carb before you go riding route them down low and away from the clutches and belt.

Check the hoses right after a ride see if they are dripping, sometimes even at idle they will drip if the Engine mounts are broke or worn bad allowing the Engine to shake excessively.

If the float level is too high it can make the the carb over flow out the vent when bouncing, a worn or damaged float needle can also cause it to flow out the over flow usually when its not seating its coming out any time the Engine is running and its feeding gas to the carb.
