 Post subject: secondary belt height

How high is the belt in the secondary supposed to sit. Mine is sitting about 3/4" below the sheaves it doesnt seem right.

Its been so long on the 250 I forget my guess would be flush with the top of the driven clutch at the very least, are you sure you have the right belt, have you verified the width of the current belt, does it look like the belt is too long (has too much slack) if you have the right belt and its not worn out is the driven clutch returning to the closed position at idle ?
