what 4/110 bolt pattern hubs work front and rear, Honda four wheeler maybe?
part #'s would be cool or model/year front and rear listings.

also what shocks will work any 11 1/2" ?, I've found works shocks but they cost 550$ more than I paid for my ody :(
and some random china shocks on ebay, no thanks.
I was thinking maybe used atv take off shock? they all seem 12 1/2+" does 1 inch matter? since the j-arms hardly move.

I plan on hitting the atv junk yard and ebay, so I don't want or buy/order the wrong parts.
any help from people that have done this would rock!, mine is a 79 fl 250 if that matters.

thanks for your time Pete.

Don't know about shocks, but here's something on the hubs: http://www.pilotodyssey.com/hubs.htm

I used the hubs from an 85 TRX125 and it works fine.

yeah the 85-86 trx 125 have different bearings. so far I found 86-89trx 250r fronts have the same 6004 bearing as the stock odyssey on both sides. figure just remove the disc brake and they should work, I'm going to order a set from ebay and try them out.

I tried 86-89 trx 250r rears they did not work for anyone wondering. I will be ordering 85trx 125 rears.
will update when I get them. Pete

guess the 125trx rears are 4/130 not very common of a rim. so the 400ex ones in the link you gave me, shows a challenger fl250. are they the same spline count as normal fl 250s? I'd like to have 4/110 in the rears.

ok I got my 86-89 trx 250r front hubs today and to get these to work. you need to put the fl250 outside seal and spacer on "or" you can grind down the outside trx spacer 1/8" to make the cotter pin hole line up. pretty damn easy.

so yes these will work and now I have 4/144 front bolt pattern. every sport quad uses this.

now on to the rears, if I can find some that work and are 4/110.

so i got 300ex,400ex,450r rear hubs now 4/110.

for tires and rim info if anyone wants to know.

sti pro lite beadlock rears 9" 3+5 offset stock. and maxxis razr 22/11/9 tires
douglas 10" front and maxxis razr2 fronts 4+1 off set wich allows me to run 21/7/10 in the front now.

i got these tires and rims from a Tire block supplier 200$ cash no tax. atv race take offs 90% tread.
so it may be worth your time to contact a local supplier, those rear rims cost 170$ each new...

Pete

here is how they look.

the front turned out good, nice and wide stance.

turn radius with 21" fronts

rear bead locks, they got some scratches but are not bent or anything like that.

turned out nice, the rear hubs also add 1 to 1 1/2" width to the rear I'm liking it so far.

Pete

Nice! I dig the cage…gotta get some pics of my build up lol… Nice Job!

Are your "J" arms stock, or the extended ones? I have a set of the extended for mine, I like the wider profile front end, much better stability.
