most of these old girls have had the travel limiters removed , lost , broken off on rocks ?? and the new ones are a bit pricey ( imo ),, a fix i have been using since the old race days makes them last almost forever and you will never break one ( at least i never have ) just go to your local hardware store and pick up a tube of roof and flashing sealer.. follow the attached pictures.. and it also makes the car a bit more responsive as the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) doesnt try to move as much so it shifts up a bit slower giving better acceleration..
