guessing my float valve is 35 years old and went bad.

what kit do you guys recommend ?
i found this one made in japan.

Before you buy anything, try this trick.....

Put a Q tip in the end of a drill. Dip the Q tip in a little polishing compound, stick the Q tip in the valve body and spil at speed to polish it.

Polish the end of the valve needle also.

Re-assemble and try it out!

I meant to write spin the drill at speed and polish it. For some reason the edit tab isn't showing up!

I will check it out after work. I took the carb apart yesterday and it was shockingly clean. i diden't look much at the float valve, figured they just went bad.
going to polish it and hope for the best.

but if all is bad what rebuild kit to buy? i heard stay away from china ebay kits.

If at all possible, stay away from anything Chinese!

Ever heard of the term Chinese Junk? And I'm not talking about boats! :-)
