So i got a new light from napa. will it light up when turning the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) over with the pull start? just wondering if i hooked it up right. in the middle of carb rebuild not running atm, so i wanted to test it. i'm not very familiar with 6 volt systems. my light has 1 black wire. the diagram showed 2, does it self-ground through the mount? i'm no electrician. maybe someone can tell me how the light wiring/switch works thanks. |

The aftermarket light probably is internally grounded wait until you get your Engine running then hook one wire at a time to the light see if it lights and or use a volt meter on AC check the voltage. You would have to look at the wiring diagram to see if if the system had a voltage regulator. |
