so i just rebuilt the carb, changed the fuel and new spark plug.

idles fine and starts right up. after i run it down the road at wide open throttle i turn around and it just bogs down like i ran it out of fuel.
i sprayed starting fluid all around intake and head while running no idle increase. so i am guessing that there is no air leaks from their at least.
the spark plug is a nice light brown color.

i think its my float setting. can anyone tell me the adjustment and how do i measure it? i never have done this, so spoon feed me it.

any help would be great thanks, Pete.

Do you have a manual ??
If not then I can send you a pdf copy by email as it is only 12.5mb. We are limited here on the size of attachments we can send. PM me your email if you need it.
Basically you remove the carb and float bowl. Turn carb upside down. Measure from the edge (where float bowl is screwed on) to the arm that the float pushes on. This is the float measurement and every carb model is different. If you measurement is not right you "carefully" bend the little tang that is pushing on that little plunger where the fuel comes in to the float bowl.

Yep, could very well be a stuck float or improperly set floats. Make sure all the carb guts are where their supposed to be, too.
