Picked this up yesterday for a little project. At first I thought it was an fl350 (i really wanted the rear suspension) but after I got it uncovered and out of the dark garage, I realized it was a fl250. What year does this appear to be? I'm new to the odyssey world so Ill probably have a lot of questions. I started pulling some parts off last night. It was loaded with black widow spiderwebs and the throttle cable was seized. After removing the cable and trying to work it free, it actually broke from the rust so it will need to be replaced. It appears to be missing a few things but overall I think its pretty complete. Ill need a new fuel tank, (it was rigged with an old 3 wheeler fuel tank) Ill also need brake and throttle cables. He also mentioned something about the rear brake caliper.

Since I am not familiar with these, Is there a gear selector to switch between neutral and forward or is it just in forward gear all the time?

Welcome to the obsession! :-)

Unfortunately the FL250 is in gear the whole time. There is no selector.

Welcome new guy.
Lots of info on this site. Use the search box above. Type "one" word in it and hit enter. Then type another "one" word in the "search these threads" box to narrow it down.
If you get the serial number we can tell you what year it is.

I found it! Haha

It's FL250-2012115

Would that make it a 79?
