Post subject: | Driven Clutch removal... |
I've come to the conclusion, that there must be a level of hell where you have to remove driven clutches from rusted shafts for all eternity. I did the searches, i i used PB blaster, i used heat, i tried to use the press, i tried the hammer. After 3 weeks, i finally broke it loose. It fought the whole way out. The crazy thing is that it didn't even appear to be that rusty. Luckily, i was planning on changing out the clutches, as the driven clutch did not appear to come out w/o some errant hammer blows causing some minor damage, and i think the heat screwed up the spring. I am just amazed at how hard this was. |
