I was passed a Comet 102c and am wondering if there is some way to space the stock driven clutch to accept the wider 1.25" belt. If not, has anyone got a recommendation to adjust the 102c to the 7/8" stock belt? FYI it came off a John Deere 1976 304 snowmobile, according to http://www.hiperf.com/acatalog/cometcalguide.pdf says its probably a model 208306, do you think the output shaft of my odyssey Engine will be compatible? I can't find specs on this clutch to see what shaft diameter it will take.
