here is what i found out from Kyle

the puller is right hand thread

either
1 1/16 - 20 count thread or 27mm 1.25

you have to machine out the center of the puller until it fits over the crank

Thanks for the spec's OMO. the puller I bought has 26 on one end & 27 MM on the other end. There was one other Motoplat puller that was 27MM ,I probably should have bought that one.

ask them if it is right hand thread. you may have to machine out the middle

Both of the Motoplat pullers were right hand thread so they said.

i would think the 27mm should work - the inside will have to be machined down so that it fits the crank

Hoser measured his Honda puller at 26.68 so that's why I bought the double ended puller I thought for sure one end would have fit.The seller told me if it didn't work he would refund my money, but I'm sure that doesn't include shipping , so if this one can be tweaked to make it work so be it.

I wonder how much it is going to cost me if I use the Motoplat ignition. I don't have a coil or a CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) for it, I know Motoplat is expensive stuff. There's a Honda CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) setup on Ebay I should buy just in case ,might have to get out the ole fire stick out to get that flywheel off the crank.

anytime you go custom it is going to cost you more money - i am lucky i have access to a full machine shop and a person that use to race odyssey's fl250. with some of this stuff you almost have to have a machine shop close to keep them running.

good luck

that's why I sent Hoser the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), I knew it was a modifyed motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) and I figured it was in better hands if Hoser was doing the work on it.

Thanks for the links OMO. I've got a early 70's Penton 125 6 days that probably has a Motoplat ignition , I don't know if its a CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) though.

here you go hoser

also if there are 2 wires coming out - i may not need a CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) just a coil

it is pointing to what we think is a spacer that needs to be removed.

Ok now I understand, if that's a spacer I hope it didn't mess up the threads on the flywheel.

What I could do is bore out the inside so it can screw in then weld a nut on the end once I find the proper thread to use and use a bolt to push.
