This is the reason I had the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) sent to you Hoser, you are better equiped and knowledge far greater than mine.Being that's a modified motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) I figured it would be in better hands if you did the work on it. Kinda looks like that seal is toast big time ,I hope that's not a indication that there's something wrong down stairs. Are those allen head bolts on the pull starter or are they philips ?Thanks.

Head gasket drops right on a FL350 cylinder, my guess is this is a CR450 or CR480 top end...

I did a search and found out these people are still in business. The girl I talked to was real nice and knew what she was talking about and didn't give me the feeling like I was bothering her. She said they haven't used that sticker that's on the jug since around 1985, she said alls they did was probably sleeved the cylinder because that's all they do there.

She said a ballpark price on a stock sleeve job is around $250.00 to $280.00, and they relieve the exhaust bridge & champher the ports, phone # is 503- 666 -8430.

Hoser what you have there is all I got in the auction, it came right from the seller to you, what else do I need to buy for the ignition, would the honda coil & CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) work?

I took a closer look at the flywheel today, its threaded inside like the stock FL250 flywheel but my puller for a FL250 will not fit, the size looks right but my puller is left hand thread and I think the motoplat is right hand thread?

Here is a pic of my puller.

I found 2 motoplat pullers the one I PM'd you I think it is 27MM and there is another one that fits 27 & 28 MM would any of these fit? How bad is the intake manifold Hoser, can it be straightened out or does it need replaced? The seller talked to UPS and I think they want to take the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) to their main office to inspect it, and I don't like that idea cause I'll probably never see the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) again. Do have any experience with UPS on something like this, the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) had insurance on it?

I don't know what to tell you about the flywheel and what will fit I was hoping someone had a motoplat in the past and could offer some ideas.

I will bet anything UPS going to tell you it was not packed properly, and it was not, you take the packing material and ball it up then stand on it its hard as a rock, it offers a cushion for the Engine for about 5 miles in the truck then after that it compresses then its like no padding at all.

I will look closer at the manifold tomorrow to see what can be done.

I just got off the phone with UPS they said they can send someone over to inspect the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) but they need the box & packing material. They said get an estimate what it will cost to fix or replace the manifold, they will cover it up to $100.00 and I get to keep the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )). But like you said I'm going to be screwed on the packing he used,so throw some kind of a price at me for what it will take to fix or replace the manifold and I'll start a claim, when they tell me the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) was not packaged properly I'll have something to tell the seller and see if I can get anything out of him, thanks Hoser.

The problem is going to be meeting up with UPS.... I can leave it all set on the front steps and they can look it over?

Before I call them back I'm going to need a price to fix or replace the manifold, I'll see if you can just leave the box & packing and the manifold instead of having the whole motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) sitting out there, thanks Hoser.

The outside diameter of the threads could be ok but the center part where the pusher bolt screws into is too small, I remove the center pusher bolt and cant screw in the outer puller part because its hitting on the crankshaft taper.
