well I got a call last weekend from a customer. he had purchased one of my throttle pilots from me about 2 months ago. him and his wife love it to death and have ridden it quite frequently. well his buddy went riding with them and inadvertently behind the owners back had hit the moonshine pretty good. well this is exactly what you do not do drink and drive a pilot. after hitting the moonshine he hit a tree at 40 miles per hour and wrecked the pilot. the left front suspension was completely ripped off the frame and bent it over a good 6-8 inches. I totally replaced the frame with a new used 1, installed all used left front suspension, had to install a new starter in it too-but if you can believe it the steering column was not bent at all and was reused. Here are some pictures of the tear down and replacement of the frame and associated parts.

Guy is a really nice guy, he had no problem leaving it here, and I hate to let a pilot go up for parts!

Owner came and picked up the unit over the weekend, and purchased another one of my Pilots as well. Very happy with them both, this time he purchased a bit more performance minded of a Pilot rather then stock.
I might be looking for a replacement in the coming month, something stock so I can put all these kits I have on it, still got 2 YODA kits here, Got several rear LT shock bracket kits with shocks, might as well use them.

Very cool.

Just curious if you have ever lined up all your pilots for a picture, it would make an awesome screen saver. :-)

This is the biggest collection of Pilots I have ever seen at single time..

It was back in 2011. The 4 pilots on the left belong to a guy from Denver, that Steve knew. He and his friends rented a motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) home and were just going to travel around and ride a bunch of different places in the SW. The end pilot on the left side is the one from this video..

The guy riding it was from Florida if i remember right. The stock pilot 3rd from the left went poofkaboom several miles down in the canyon that day. :-(

The 2nd from the right with the flag is mine and the far right LT is Steve's. I don't remember their names, but it was a really fun day and they were a nice bunch of guys.

I see that many everyday in my garage, if you watch some of the videos in my world you will see them. Still nice to see a lot in 1 place. Oh yea, I also have a drakart stuffed in there also :-) People break there necks looking at all of them on the trailer at 1 time, and always a conversation is struck up at the gas station or grocery store. People love pilots! Especially 5 long travel and the Drakart all together and the stock pilot in the bed  1 negative is THEY TAKE UP SO MUCH ROOM :-)

I hear you our 4 buggies eat up a good chunk of real-estate in the garage. I just wish they were all Dave-co LT Pilots. :-)
