Tryed this morning to sand blast the old Turbotexas hondaline rear bumper-it will not fit into my sandblaster at work, so I guess hand sanding or a wiz wheel is in my future for the rest of the week, the paint on it is poor and it needs at least some form of sanding and spray paint at least.
I even got up early to do this, back to bed screw it!

Still trying to get around to testing this piloot, I have been so busy at work and house related stuff. I did get a new 8 1/2 x 24 1/2 enclosed trailer from trailercountry.com and the pilots fit sideways in there, which gives me the ability to take almost 5-6 pilots at 1 time, really helps out!

Drive em in straight and turn buy hand?

I alternate driving in straight and backing and then use a Dolly on the Engine side to put them sideways. I purchased the dolly at Harbor Freight. The Engine side is just to heavy and space is limited when turning them.

Ya they are heavy as hell to move, as I'm sure you know very well. The dolly is a great idea.

Here are the only pictures I could find of this Engine build I have no idea where they went I checked all my cameras including my cell phone, 3 desk top computers and my laptop just in case I had downloaded the pics to another machine I simply cant find them, I thought I already uploaded them to my website but I cant find them if I did, sometimes in the past I have just deleted the pics off the camera once they were uploaded to the site, not going to do this any more after this deal I am going back to the old school ways, ALL pics are saved to the computer then uploaded to the website no more uploading right from the camera, anyways here the pictures that I did find.

The rebuild was pretty straight forward the whole Engine was rebuild with the parts you supplied, Athena gasket set was used, Honda seals were used for the clutch side crank seal and the far right seal I used the seal you got from Randy for the mag side crank seal, also used the crank bearings you send the mag side was the Nissan bearing that comes with seals and is greased, you have to remove the seals and clean out the grease on these.

The cylinder they never removed all the old gasket from the bottom of the cylinder during the last rebuild not sure how they expected it to seal like this other pics show the cylinder scuffing.

All the rest of the normal work was done during the rebuild, all the gaskets surfaces was lapped to ensure they were flat, hoserized the cases for better oiling for the balancer and the crank bearings .

I finally got around to finishing the Throttle pilot and started back on this project. I ordered tires for the Turbo pilot which is currently running stock rims and tires-I had purchased OMF rims from scpilot:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12763" ."..

These rims will get a new set of ITP Mud lites front and rear 24 in rear stock 22's front. The tires and rims off the Turbo pilot will be put onto this pilot as the current front rims look like hell and have numerous bends in them. I will also removed the Vroom rooflid as the hinges are bad in it. I also have some plastics to install on this Pilot as well.I will hopefully find new 1's somewhere.
I plan on taking off the current tires which are ITP Holeshots and installing on the Turbo front rims-stock 22's as everything else is stock and it turns well with the stock offset/tire package.

Are you going to keep the storage roof lid in stock or would you like to sell it? Is it in good condition?

It is, I have the original lids here, got like 3 completed lids and 1 prototype top/bottom, I could send them to a plastics or fiberglass company ???

wouldn't it be cheaper to send them to a fiberglass guy to copy, you have fiberglass shops in your area by the coast?

I lost track who has the molds for these currently?
