Any updates Hoser by chance?
Radiator get there? :shock: -test ride in order?
-::

Installed the radiator took it outside for some heat cycles, carb flooding bad so I have to go back through the carb again to see why.

Update...

Piece of lint on the needle, I talked about this before it don't take much, cleaned it again reinstalled now it starts and runs normal...

Gave it 2 heat cycles then 3rd time took it for a short ride running it up to about 3/4 throttle runs real good, its on the cool down I will take it for a few more rides get some more time on it, its about 65 and sunny so good day for a ride.

Front suspension feels real good, its soft with the stock shocks but the weight transfer when you go into a turn is near perfect this thing turns much better than stock.

Noticed the right rear rim they must have drove it with the nuts loose the holes are a little oval, not a big deal if you tighten the nuts a little at a time by hand going over them 3-4 passes it will self center the rim on the studs then hit it good with the impact, I have found if you loosen and tighten them enough times it will move the metal from the high spots to the low spots just keep an eye on it each time you top off the tank make sure its not loose.

Pilot has finally got to my garage-thing runs like a raped ape, LT front end is real quick response-love it!
I ordered a CROW ENTERPRISES 5 point harness-CROW ENTERPRISES hand restraints-installed a new belt,re-tightened the front arm suspension bolts/nuts (as per Hoser)adjusted the e brake cable-took the tires off and installed a set of Maxxis 22x7x10's on stock rims,put used roof lid on(old 1 was faded badly)ordered a ATVR desert front bumper,and that's it for the time being.

Fabbed a dual air inlet bracket today for the ride at my friends muffler shop.Using his tubing expander I was able to size the OD of the tubing to accomendate the K&N RU-0620 Filters I purchased(see Hosers tech pages for the prefilter thread) -I purchased some 2 1/2 iinch OD shop vac (rigid) from home depot, inside the ends are a perfect fit for the dual air box inlet which AUSSIEDUNER had made for the group sometime back in the day.The bracket was a easy make, piece of flatstock and 2 3' pieces of piep expanded at the inside end to fit the filters.I will paint and clear it, install as soon as I get the filters from K&N.HERES A PICTURE OF THE BRACKET WE MADE TODAY.

What you guys think?I like it, and it mounts right up nice and neat.

Got the filters today, mounted them and jetted the stock carb for them, rich on bottom end but leans out on top end, for me that's fine,I prefer a little rich like Harescrambles-LOL.
I WAS WORRIED THE NEW FILTERS ID was going to be larger then what I had expanded the pipe in the mounts for, but the fit perfectly on there-I was surprised but happy since the sealing on the filters is important.I'll post pics tomorrow.

Rode the Pilot over the weekend-after getting killed with rocks, mud and dust, I took the advice of Mikey and Cafercr and installed some skids and a hood today.These were made by Hoser some years ago, I had them in waiting for a project like this, so it was a great thing.I also install a GRAYDON PROLINE mid skid as well, I ordered a ATVR rear skid today as well, should be here in a week.

THE PRE-FILTER setup worked flawlessly-this design is pefect for the riding I do, my main filter was untouched as you'll see-the stokcing I use to cover the prefilters were coated with black coal dust-and the K&N's WERE DIRTY-but caught all the crap before it got to the air box filter-heres some pictures:

Is it just me or does it look like the RF is straight and the LF is toed in about 3"?

Also I like the Yoda Lowers, only ones I have seen with heims on the frame side mounts you can square up your suspension perfect.
