Rear hub completed. Insert was fabbed up to go between hub and axle to center it in the rear carrrier. Works perfectly.

LOL...I've exceeded the maximum number of smiles.

Just for future reference. Most common way of setting the axle position is at full droop the axles are "in line". Probably wont matter with lower travel. But when pushing the travel limits, the cvs are at there max limit at full droop.

This research was presented at the 2015 SAE conference and accompanied presentations on direct injection world wide motors and suspension advancements. It's apparent who is leaned on the board and we expect those in the now to view and process. No worries the info will be released to the public soon. I did however pay almost $800 for a copy of the paper at the conference.

The data collected is a radical departure for the old school beliefs and actually beliefs held as little as 5 years ago. Technology is moving at an exponential rate and in a self fulfilling manner really following the paradigm of Moore's law. More to come...

Bullnerd...No Worries! There wasn't and never will be anything maleficent in my comment. I do however want to encourage all members on the board..as I've said previously...to question everything. You made an observation and offered accurate feedback.... Always welcome.

Apologies, in the same regard.

As the build proceeds you'll see the actual alignment jigs I've made for setting the 4 wheel alignment.

The only purpose of the jig in the pic is to create a reference point for the further production of the suspension. Its a "spot" I can go back to where a "centerline" was in place. A line straight through from end of axle to end of axle and perpendicular to the chassis. There are so many different paths to the same destination and I may choose a path and others a different path.

I truly....truly wish there was something I could add to make this better. Politics and other topics arise so much enthusiasm in so many different ways that ...well. I'll leave it there. But yes, I wish we had forward thinking champions of the american cause!

John Stuart Mills captioned it best in his work, "On Liberty" "two must use the same terms to define the same, in order to have a viable and meaning conversation"...

In other words we must both understand, agree and use the same term to describe a duck (methodical!) then we can talk..

I just wanna build cool things. BTW, Mudbogger must be the most Oddy/Pilot proactive person I have ever met in my life! It is refreshing to converse with a truly genuine and authentic person. Thanks Mud....

Engine installed today, new trans split, cleaned and prepped for new shaft, welding performed on Engine mounts and cross members, numerous new ideas being designed and testing forthcoming.

Bracket for stock fuel cell removed off frame. I am going to run a poly cell or spun aluminum fuel cell mounted above the Engine. The poly cell is a tad longer end to end so it may interfere with the upper shock hoops, but methodical is checking angle and also maybe even cutting and shortening the poly cell tank. The reason I love these tanks are first the fuel cap, screw on threaded like your car, the spun aluminum tank as recent posts here leak, second the poly cell inlet to fill is on the side, not centered over the Engine which imho lessen chances of fuel dripping on hot Engine during refueling and roll overs.
Looking as well at the Kawonda front end we have decided to remove a piece of bracing I had installed and design it so a fender can be mounted, the piece will be a bolt in bracket similar to like a roll cage bars, much easier to also remove the kit for powder coating also.
