OK, I had to do a pic out in the sun. I'm pretty happy with it so far. I truly hope it's what Greg envisioned. Attachment: Muds buggy.jpg [ 85.39 KiB | Viewed 6440 times ] |

The paint is for a 2004 to 2011 GM, it's called Super Red. Any automotive paint supply store should be able to mix it in what ever brand they carry. I am extremely happy with the match of the color versus the original R-109 Passion Red. I did much searching and researching and even had our commercial paint supplier use their "laser" (said like doctor evil) color analyzer on a semi unmolested sample of color from my oddy, in order to attempt to match the factory color. I will say that I am very pleased with the color and will be painting all there of my buggies this color. |

The device you refer to as a "laser" (said like Dr. Evil, lol) is known in the industry as a spectrophotometer. I wish I had a dollar for every time I used one, I'd be a rich man! Rand |

Yep it sure is...luckily I'm with ya .....the doctorate in biochemical engineering helped me with that one.(mass spectroscopy in general and the more specific subset: photospectroscopy) It's so hard to know when to be technical on here and when to just keep it flowing....I'll get better, just you watch! LOL |

In order to keep up with anything happening, I have to read every post. :( I wish this was fixed. :( But if it was, what would I have to whine about? :) Randiestman |
