Maybe this is known but it is news to me. I was researching Pilot clutch plates Part number 22311-HE0-000. What I found is this same clutch plate is used on Honda 84-86 CR80R A. Well I was confused as to how a HE0 part number could be for a 1984-1986 machine, when the HE0 is for a pilot from 1989-1990. So I looked at the parts diagram for the CR80R A and it turns out the part number was superseded to 22311-HE0-000. See screen shot below. The original Part for the CR80R A is 22311-GC4-730. 22311-HE0-000 and 22311-GC4-730 must be the same part.

There are currently 3 different auctions for 22311-GC4-730 on ebay right now. I know the pilot requires 4, but this is a part number to search for if you need clutch plates.

I wonder if that is what was used in my LT Pilot and why they are thinner than what the book specs yet show little to no signs of wear?

MAS confirmed they are the same, and you know how he is on detail :-). I wouldn't think Honda would have subbed a different part. They both start with 22311. what does the first part of the part number stand for? Anyone know?

I bought a set of 4 22311-GC4-730 - I can compare them to my set of 22311-HE0-000 when I get them.

This guy has 4 of the fl400 number, 22311-HE0-000, but they are rusty and way over priced. But he has them! He just doesn't know enough to list them for a FL400, Shipping is Free, but $60.00 for four plates. If you need em I guess ya gotta pay. Hell I wouldn't sell my NOS set for $60.00.

I am pretty sure it was nitrosport that was short one. I have two sets for myself. I miked nitrosports Pilot OEM one and compared it to the ones I ordered for the CR80 and it was a perfect match.

"They both start with 22311. what does the first part of the part number stand for? Anyone know?"

The first set of numbers describe the part (ex Clutch plate) The second set was the vehicle that it was made for usually the oldest one on the list. The third set was where it was manufactured. Different lots from different manufactures are why these numbers change most often.

Awesome. I now have 2 complete he0 sets and 1 complete GC4 set :) now I wish there was an alternate Honda number for the fiber disks and springs. Those are all I am missing for a clutch rebuild. I've got ebc disks but Honda is always better

Glad it was you Nitrosport. I was getting a little worried and almost getting my a** kicked because it was my wife that was the one that miked them for me and I was starting to ask her if she was sure. After 20 yrs of marriage I should know by now that you never second guess the woman. :-)

I had that 1 aftermarket plate that you had sent from Barnett I believe it was? I figured if all else failed I could get away using one a bit thicker. But now I should be set. This is an item I like to have with me. Running the higher horsepower is harder on these parts
