Just bought a bunch of parts off a guy who had a couple pilots and among the parts are a brand new set of itp aluminum rims with sand shark tires. I will never need these unfortunately as with a 3 year old son, making a trip to the dunes won't happen for years. Make me an offer! I can post pics tomorrow if needed!

Well I ended up buying an "rebuilt" Engine. Top end at least has been rebuilt as I pulled head off...piston is new and marked .50. Cylinder looked good but head could use some work. Got the sand shark tires and wheels, a set of front aluminum rims, stock rear wheels with grooved lawn tractor tires...lmao wheels are very nice though. 2 CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition)'s one stock and one no rev, wrist restraints, 2 headlight buckets..no lenses, coil, starter, handful of gaskets bearings and misc seals. None of the seals I currently need for my rebuild, but good to put in the stock pile, handful of reflectors, shockwear outerwear a for Lt pilot shocks (I'm not Lt so they'll be up for sale) and some misc front break parts, ebrake cable. I got a great deal on it all, guy used to have a Lt pilot and had these setting around. I more or less wanted the Engine as a spare but scored a nice deal on all of it

Oh forgot, radiator, stock airbox with lid and unifilter, and a brand new ATV full belly skid. :)

I believe they will work on the rear...more than certain and by checking part #'s on aftermarket rims, they are the same. You may wanna double check or wait for another reply, but as far as I can tell, they will work

too small for a pilot or odyssey. Rims will work on both though

Yes...I listed them on eBay last night.. are you saying theyre too small for pilot or odyssey because of the height? I thought they'd be a lil short as well, but know nothing about riding in sand... not much of that near Pittsburgh!

I have to concur With Dr. Shubadaba......they are too small.

I had a set of 20x11x10 Sand Shark Paddles on my Ody and they don't work that well. Because of the lower 20 inch profile, they are narrower than a taller 22 or 24 inch paddle. Ask Nickrnr how well they dig holes in the sand!

Thought it might be my weight so we put them on Ridindirty's Ody and he fared a little better but he couldn't climb the hills that I could with my straight paddles (22 x 11 x 10) and I outweigh him by probably at least 60 pounds.

Good to hear...IMA pull them off eBay now as I wouldn't want somebody buying them for an oddy or pilot if they aren't worth a crap!! I'll keep the rims and list just the tires....quad guys could prolly use them! Thanks

I made a trip to silver lake many years ago on a quad and believe I had bought sand sharks then also. They did work very well. I kinda didn't wanna part with the rims anyhow cause I know I'll need one the min in sell those....lol thanks for the advice as I'm new to the pilots and certainly wouldn't want anyone wasting their money on tires that wouldn't work well on our machines. Was just trying to free up a lil space in my garage...lol
