The flywheel/stator assembly is the hardest parts to come by. Most people sell the engines whole.

Yup they are like hens teeth

Whats wrong with yours post up some pics maybe it can be fixed.

I think it was Joe Price that was running a Pilot Engine converted to a CR500 top end and with a different ignition system ?

Might be time to look for a alternative to the Pilot ignition was it Motoplat that use to make racing ignitions for the FL250's think I seen a few MSD ignitions on the Briggs cars running the 350 based engines think they were something adapted off a personal watercraft application.

Part number of the Pilot flywheel is 31110-HE0-003FLYWHEEL (MITSUBA)

Mitsuba must be the MFG. ?

Call Ricky Stator see what they say
http://www.rickystator.com/

The numbers on the stock flywheel are 8x120 gf-8210 MITSUBA JAPAN
