I have 2 FL350s and would like to see if anyone is interested in trading for a Pilot.

The nice one:

Within the last year: New 94C clutch and belt, electric starter rebuilt, Rand balance gearcase Breather mod, new rear tires, throttle cable. Has a Harley Davidson chrome tach that works.
Known issues: left front suspension mounts bent on frame. I have a nice straight extra frame to go with it. Parking brake parts missing. Battery was low last time I used it from sitting, but may just need a charge. Front tires should be replaced with steering tires from a 2wd Atv, was waiting to do the frame swap to before I replaced them. One side mirror missing. Otherwise thing runs great and is a blast to drive.

The project:

Bought it as is. Has a hole in piston. Engine still turns over. Tires are low on tread and have some cracks. Never run or driven but was told ran a few years ago till his in laws were using it and it stopped running. Frame is straight. Picked it up to repair and have a second one for the buddies to drive, but don't have the space or time right now to work on it.

Located in South Central WI, willing to travel a few hours.

They are fun, but I'm looking for something a bit more modern. With snow and mud, 4x4 would be nice, having a cargo box would be nice, EFI 4 stroke would be nice, being able to tow would be nice...

Hoping to find someone that has an ACE but had 350's back in the day and was happier with them.

I hate to say it but you're never going to be able to trade 2 FL350 Odysseys for a pilot or even an Ace. For what ever reason, people just don't see the value in them compared to a Pilot. For me, FL350's are 1/2 the price and do the same thing. An FL350 with the proper setup rides just as nice as a pilot. IMO, Pilots are just not worth the bang for the buck. Don't get me wrong, I like the Pilot, just not what you have to pay for one.

Do what I did, just sell them outright and then use the cash to buy a Pilot or an Ace. I sold one of my FL350's and bought a sand rail and trailer.

I offered all 3 of my fl350s to a member for a Pilot and he said no and all of mine ran!
Good luck!
BTW. Pilots are better than Oddy's!! :-) :-) :-)
