Did you see the purple one with yellow fenders on phx CL? Search 1986 pilot!

it may need to be aligned.

I lost the gas tank key, so it will need to be re-locked or busted out.

Reads like its owned by a incompetent idiot buyer beware.

No plastic IMO minus $2000.00 in value.

Frame not Honda red minus $500.00

Skillbilly custom welded on nerf bars minus $500.00

Non OEM rims minus $400.00

Key for ignition no key for gas tank sounds fishy they are suppose to use the same key.

Looking at some of the fasteners that are all rusted up and a repainted frame no plastic I suspect this was a badly weathered rusted up Pilot that has been pimped up for evilbay, hope anybody bidding on this thing has their thinking cap on.

Looks like someone spent a lot of time and money to build up a nice Pilot then removed most its value with the customizing if I wanted a Pilot real bad my top dollar would be about 3k someone threw away most the real value of this thing when they removed the plastic and red paint.

that thing has allot of killer parts on it, those nerfs would be perfect for the GNCC races.

What have they done with the front end of the frame? Looks like it has been cut off and shortened maybe. Why would you want to cut and modify the front of the frame like that.

Agree on the lack of plastic. I don't really care about not being red, and really any Pilot that has been blasted and repainted (even if it is still red) you could say the same thing about. I kind of like the color on this, at least it's not purple or yellow  . The nerf bars are not welded on, you can see in some of the pics they are bolted on. But they look overbuilt, heavy, not braced particularly well, and don't provide optimal protection.

True, this would probably be a good machine for racing if it was cheap enough. Although the nerfs don't stick out far enough to the sides to really protect the rear tires properly from contact with trees.

I don't see it, looks normal to me.

The top tubes at the front where they should curve down smoothly have been cut and redone with straight pipe and the front top cross piece has been modified, there are no end caps on them.

Ah I see it now. That might confirm hoser's theory that the Pilot was rusted or damaged and then rebuilt.

I think that if this machine goes for cheap then it would be worthwhile as a play or race vehicle, but obviously for anyone looking for a cherry Pilot this is far from it.

Just combine the colors and go with pink!

I don't mind the yellow, it's the purple and yellow together that looks, well......

But hey, they look good on YOU!

$.02 is all my opinion's worth lately anyway
