Damn... looks like my project is still on then. I am sending a donor fl350 seat to a vinyl guy on ebay that made wonderful covers for my fl250.. Anyone have a junk pilot seat they want to donate to him for a pattern? (if the 350 covers turn out alright that is?)

He can make them on of two ways.

Loose seat "cover" as seen on that site

or

A conforming reupholster.

I am getting the seat from user Nelly hopefully this week then I will ship it out to the guy.

Id rather have a reupholster personally. And i believe that the pilot seat is pretty much identicle to the FL350 seat other than the pattern. but someone can correct me if i am wrong.

I also did a WHOIS of the direcnet.com domain name and sent an email to the anonymized administrator address asking about them.

I got one of those seat covers for my oddy, it was very well made, fit very well and looked like the original cover but with a bit more padding.

The oddy and pilot seats are different, the oddy has slots for the seat belt to pass through on the sides and the pilot is open.

Cheers

Every once in a while the 350 covers pop up on eBay. I bought one a couple months ago. For the cover and new wrist restraints was right at $100. I think the person was from Greensboro, North Carolina.
