1989 pilot with rebuilt Engine and transmision all done by ATV racing out of phenoix. At that time a new power clutch, CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) and FMF pipe and silencer was installed. ATV racing claims with the rebuild port & polish it will put out 55hp. The rebuild was done 2yrs ago but ive only got about 10 tanks of gas through it. Its run stronger every time I ride it. The down fall is the plastic is rough. Would like to get $4000.00 out of it, located in SE Colorado

It's unfortunate that happened to the rear plastics. That is a result of running the pilot without rear fender brackets. It happened to my old Pilot. Those rear brackets are a must have to keep your rear plastics in place. You may be able to get away with not having them if you're dune riding but the hard hitting rocks of Colorado and here in the East will cause them break in no time.
