Wrong-the protective skin keeps this Pilot from it from being picked up on radar :-)

Wrong - The installed Chrome alternator provides the amperage needed, thus relieving the Engine of this chore, thus making it run faster...and because it is chrome, it provides unmentionable sun reflective qualities making it more efficient....duh.....

You guys are harsh, though it doesn't look as good as it did with pilot skin it does look better than the pep boys karts.
Doesn't that alternator hook up to an electric-motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) and make it a clean environment vehicle?

I remember that douche bag. Totally did his front LT wrong and refused to listen to reason when we told him it wouldn't work. I regreted doing the panels on my pilot, but damn, it didnt look as bad as his does! And I wonder why he is selling it? LOL

That Pilot looked pretty clean in the "snow" pic from my link.

$7,500.00

This guy balsted Hoser all over the internet did he not if my memory serves me correctly him and his buddy the fabricator dude. He has in my opinion just made this ride into a "train wreck". I would run away from it as fast as 1 can. He has bold ideas but none seem to work out.I am suprised it has not sold with the "innovations" it has on it. I can buy 2 pilot for that cashola.

The "snow" pic showed the way it was when he purchased it, I guess.
I would like to come across a clean one like that locally at a fair price.

I'm not a fan of people hacking up nice things, but it's his money and life, not mine.
Blasted Hoser? On this site too? That would be an entertaining read I bet...

I didn't think the alternator was such a bad idea. Would be a good mod IMO if done cleanly. Sucks he's selling it. I've been waiting almost a year to see "the Hoser cam" footage LMFAO! Dude had a camera mount built into this thing pointing at the front suspension. Was going to show us how much better it worked than a pilot suspension. I don't see video links included in the ad........ With all the money he spent I bet he could afford a gopro so he could share some video. I don't care for what he did to it either. There is not much out there prettier than a bone stock honda pilot.

Glad you thought that about the skin you had nick. When I saw that I was wtf??? It's the mighty duck! Did look better than this though. All this really needed was some paint touch up and some new fenders from Honda. Then basic mechanical maintenence. To each his own I guess.

The guy the whole time while the build was going on was spouting out how they were improving the pilot for race reliability and strengthening it up. He never understood that welding bumpers and nerfs directly to the frame was not gonna make it stronger get make the areas he welded to more prone to bending because that's now the impact point. His fabricator is a clown and mounted the radiator and fan outside the rollcage and cant do aluminum body work.

What I did like about my aluminum stuff was it was fully reversable. The dzus tabs that shoubadaba welded on were out of the way of all the plastics, so you could remove the aluminum and put plastic back on if desired. My reasoning was similar to KTM's, I wanted to be protected while racing and not destroy my plastics (although I only raced it once or twice with the aluminum). Also, my pilot was nowhere as clean as his was when we started out projects, respectively. There is no way I would have hacked up a clean pilot the way that ass clown did. "To each his own" only goes so far. What he did was just plain stupid.

There's no way it sold! He realized he wasn't going to get what he wanted and pulled the ad.

I think he should have gone with the lines that the chrome thing on the back of the Engine was the flux capacitor that powered the pilot to go back in time!

"Hello? Hello? Anyone home, huh? Think, McFly! Think!"

Hey does the owner of this pilot look like this?

Sorry, I couldn't resist..

Good hopefully that's the last we will ever see of that loser, think he is about the worse this group has ever had to endure I base this on the amount of email and private message complaints I have received about the guy since he arrived, he holds the record.

Another want to be know it all loser purged from the system, down the road like all the others who thought they were something haha

Notice how quiet and peaceful its been since he was ejected (by request) from this site, anybody miss his Pilot - fabricating wisdom and innovations, I am trying to think of anything useful he ever produced coming up blank....

Good luck to the new owner.

Hoser, he did do one thing. He gave us some laughs and laughter is good for your health. :-)

We are all on this site because we genuinely love these machines. We may not all agree on everyone else's modes but, we all value the Pilot and would not want to change it into something else. I feel that he did want it to be something else. He would have been better off just starting from scratch and building what he wanted. Of course he would have needed the skills to actually do that. LMAO You shouldn't put people down but I am blind and I could still have done better than that.
