Also, what are the straps for on the rear arms?

Tell me what they do, cause, I have NFI.

those straps are a homemade limiting strap for the rear arms, IMO they are poorly designed and will get caught on rocks, trees and associated other items on the trail-don't even think of buying them in that form. Also, they are wrapped around the frame and will travel along the rail when caught on something possible ripping of the rear brake line and skid plate-

Ouch, my limiter straps design just got shot down. :-) I use them in the dunes and trails. Ive never experienced them hanging on any debris but not heavy trail riding for me. I routed the strap under the brake line and just under the brake line shield, I installed some trim just on the bottom of the shield to prevent the strap for being cut by the shield. As to whether they will work I gues Ill have to bust a ujoint to find out. Also that's my FL350 for sale and yea I think its a good deal. You'll find my sweat and tears all over it. ::-:

To Mozzy or anyone considering purchasing this they won't be disappointed. I've seen this machine in person a few times and it is in impeccable condition. That being said, Stix's truck has over 200k miles I think and it is in excellent shape as well...a testament that he takes great care of his stuff.

Hey mud, no worries here, were all just experimenting with these vintage machines and when something works I consider myself lucky, so no offense taken...Marc
