i need an fl350 intake manifold that will fit a slightly larger carb. around 36mm im guessing.

The stock one should fit! Put it in HOT water and it will slip on!!!

oh my i was measuring the inside.. the outside is around 39-40mm

how far should these mikuni carbs fit in turbo? they don't seem to like the stock mani.

I don't like/use mikuni... My kids race bike has one and I don't like it compared to the keihan's... But I think the stock was a 32 mm so it is only getting stretched a little... be patient...

and what pipe you have on the other end of this carb? It has to "breath" so Make sure you have a good/anything other than stock pipe!!!

of coarse the guy that had this before me had the stock pipe... can the stock pipe hinder the performance at all? or is it simple a gain. What kinda pricing am i looking at for a used aftermarket pipe?

Stock pipe is a good pipe for the stock carb...
I have never seen a stock pipe, so I will pass this on to someone else...
but in theory all that extra fuel has to go somewhere! LOL
