I am currently on the look for a clean factory seat bottom that is rust free for my FL250 restoration.
Any help would be great!

Thanks,

Casey Davis

Casey,

I have a pan bottom that has been primered to all hell.. it was rusted before it was primered, but seemed quite solid (tabs were in rough shape)

If you were willing to deviate from the stock seat I would recommend using a seat from an FL350. (you can use the seat from a Yerfdog Spiderbox, but i am not sure how comfortable it is.)

Thanks, but I'm restoring this Odyssey close to factory specs.
So I plan on keeping the hunt up for a rust free seat bottom...

BAM! Found one and it will soon be on it's way to me!
Take that Oldmanody...haha!

Had a good day today. Found NOS switches (both), NOS headlight and bracket (complete), NOS steering wheel and NOS splash flaps overseas. Love it!
I seriously have had an awesome time finding parts for my Odyssey.
When it's complete I'm not going to know what to do.
Now I need to wrap up the final part hunting and start getting this thing together.

Hi Casey,

just read your post about finding NOS switches for your fl250!
Would you be so kind and let me know where I can find those? I am restoring my Ody (81´) as well and can´t find descend switches anymore.....
Thanks for your help!
