I find it hard to believe this is a Hillside Honda cylinder. You would think that a much better job would have been done.
I actually have a cylinder that I am contemplating having some mild port work done on that I would like to have water cooled.

I am looking at a new welder so I can weld aluminum actually my son is a good aluminum welder.
Most the heat in the cylinder is from the exhaust port and above the heat goes out the exhaust port, some heat from the piston and rings transferred to the cylinder wall below the exhaust port.
Look at a Pilot cylinder it does not even have cooling fins down at the transfer level like this 350 cylinder.
Most LC 350 cylinders they go down one more cooling fin?
