Anybody Try this kit out? I always thought the front brakes were strong enough when properly adjusted to stop on a dime:

HONDA PILOT FL 400 DISC BRAKE CONVERSION KIT

I helped him build that kit. supplied him with my spindles to make the mounts. I am running the kit on my fl350 and absolutely love it. parts are easy to find as far as replacement rotors and calipers. i also have this exaxt kit for the pilot but haven't used it because I am using the entire spindle assembly off of a trx450 since I have the adjustable arms.

Thanks for the reply and developing the kit... I also have a TRX450R and its F brakes are awesome.

Will this kit work with stock front wheels.
I have a kit on mine but it won't clear the stock wheels ID so there's aftermarket aluminum rim on there instead.
I don't know who made it. Maybe ATVR?

no, must use aftermarket. if you order kir, try and get him to built you a 4/144 lug pattern. this way you use the quad pattern, and 4+1 offset wheels are available.

I ended up using Honda TRX300 Fourtrax Rims in the front to get the off set back.
They are 11" rims and the same bolt pattern so everything clears and they bolt right up but the 11" rims have limited tires and sizes available.
