This has been a topic for several years but never been resolved to date.
I am sure Honda made an arm from another ATV that would fit, but getting a cross reference is harder then it appears. Usually I have found the parts from say a ATC 200 will fit other model years, same with the Odysseys and the Pilots, some of the Pilot parts actually cross reference over the Honda Accords in the 80's in fact, so if you have the time and the computer skills the internet could be your way to solve this mystery.
I was always curious as too if the on/off road bikes in the late 80's forget the model of them had the same arms on the rear brakes, they were 600's darn I forget the model, but anyways I had heard back in the day some fellas had gotten a hold of 1 of them and it worked, but again that's just what I heard.

Would that have been the "XL" models that you speak of?

Purchase this Honda 43362-VM0-771 ARM --- ARM (Honda Motorcycle Code 1997352)

Maybe that motorcycle code is a clue to what bike it fit?

I'm looking for one of these too, From the pictures have seen then seem pretty simple and could possibly be made. Can anyone take a picture of one beside a tape measure for dimensions? I would be curious if I could recreate one, or something like it to work.

Or has a suitable replacement been located?

Ok, here's what I ended up doing to replace my missing rear brake caliper parts:

If you go to Service Honda's website http://www.servicehonda.com" .".. and search their parts catalog, you'll notice that the brake shaft that the arm bolts on to (part# 43361-965-006) is the same for the 1985 ATC200X rear caliper. So, what I did was order the arm for the ATC200X (part#43362-965-006). Is it different? Yes. It appears that the ATC arm is probably shorter than the FL arm (I honestly haven't measured it yet). But at least it's still available for now and I can always cut it, add some flat stock, plug and seam weld it back together and grind til its all pretty and shit.

Hell it might even work right out of the box, who knows. Anyways, just throwing that out there as another option.

Great ideas guys!!!

Something I have always wondered is why are there so many machines out there without the parking brake arm. what happens that causes them to be removed. Are they breaking? Or is the attitude just that the parking brake is not needed?

easy to answer. People leave the machines outside and the parking brake cable freezes up with rust and then to release the brake they remove the arm and it gets misplaced or lost

That's a terrible way to treat an odyssey or pilot.

I guess hat also explains the desire for the parking brake cable.

Thanks.
