I put in a request prior to the all gone post, so not sure if I was part of the first wave

I guess this means not, so please tag me for two in the next run

PM me when they land

Thank

Hello,
I just looked back through the post. All the belts were gone in 11/2013 you asked for belts after they were all sold so yes you are first on this list. Thank you.

Thought i would post here a quick ride report for running this belt. Unfortunately I didnt mic the belt before running it, I was so busy with other stuff at the time, but see pic for after the ride. I can say this belt was put to the test in some hard dune riding in 90 to 100 degree ambient temps, it was tested on a CR500 converted pilot Engine, lots of bowl climbing, hard pulls out of corners in the trails, long pulls through thick sand, I really like it so far. I probably ran 4 tanks of gas with this belt. So far so good. Thanks Afastcar!

Put me down for 2 when you get another batch,. Thanks

OEM Pilot belt is Standard 30.4mm,and Service limit at 28mm.
Did you "run in" the belt before full throttle riding?

I did not. that's something else I meant to ask. How do you "run in" the belt and I have also heard to wash the belt in soapy water to get the "storage" oils out of the belt??

Stixy, you run in the belt by moderate driving, with varying throttle/revs,not exceeding 45-50mph-80kph max, during the first 20 miles.
It allows the cords to stretch to their max strength.
Not following this precedure will greatly shorten the belt's life...Stixy! Image

Well now you tell me Bugs  Better let that sink in for the next one. I rarely get over 45 in the sandy dunes but Im sure its more stress on the belt even at speeds below 50mph in thick sand. Probably best to keep it under 30 to 35 and not do much climbing. Thaks for the info Bro Montana :-)

Nah, when I got home at 3 this morning and I put them on and ran em around the neighborhood til the cops started chasing me. I also sent back my recalled HP2, lol. Yes the measurements were taken right out of the box.
