Hey Steve. The Wiseco part number is 577M08050. I found this one. http://cycleplicity.com/products/266237 ... 169td.aspx Very good price and it looks like the company sells on Amazon. You might want to research a little on the company for bad reviews but the price is right. I did and found this post on a Harley forum. http://www.hdforums.com/forum/general-h ... y-com.html. Good luck man!

It is my understanding that the Wiseco piston calls for a little more clearance then oem, so on a cylinder that is a little to worn for oem Wiseco might work and in my case my cylinder has .005 clearance I think (can't remember exactly to be honest, Hoser has my cylinder) and I believe that .004 is max clearance for oem.
Thank you for all your time my friend.

Wonder why wiseco quit making the 1 size. Wonder if that means they are fazing out other sizes as well. Hell I'd stock up on what's available while you can.

I went to the Wiseco website and if you add a piston to the cart it says minimum order of 12.

That sucks, too bad Honda doesn't have good parts support for these older machines , now the aftermarket is drying up too.
I don't know if I would want to buy a Honda made machine like a pilot if they came out with one now since you can't get parts for a 89-90 pilot.
MY pilot project I just got needs the thumb throttle lever, I figured I might be able to get one from Honda since they are the same as the fl350, NOPE, unavailable everywhere , I find it hard to believe that thousands of people have broke a the thumb throttle lever and had to have them replaced and wiped out Honda's stockpile of spare parts  .
Honda needs to stop making parts that just fit just one machine so parts can be interchanged easier, And I would think it would be cheaper to make one or 2 different brake caliper's and use it on multiple atv's then making a different caliper for every machine they make that year.
I just does not make sense to me to put a bearing or seal on only one machine and nothing else they make then when the limited amount of spare parts are gone we are screwed.

Bob ::-: -::

Wonder what a guy has to do to become a dealer and get a dealer price, when will it be time to order batches of 82.25mm 82.50mm 82.75mm pistons to avoid having to spend 450 bux on a new sleeve ?

I may see if they will approve me to become a dealer. Could be nice for my small Engine repair/ATV biz anyhow

You might PM cwwiedmaier. I don't know if Curtis browses the forum anymore but I think he was a dealer for a few manufactures, he might be able to give you some insight as well. He had a Pilot Odyssey parts website, he mainly sold aftermarket upgrade parts like shocks, wheels, etc

Under the new dealers part it says.

Your application can NOT be approved unless you enclose the following items with your application. (A,B,C)
A) Copy of your state resale business license or your vendors license.
B) Copy of an invoice from a present supplier in a similar field (Include Payment Terms).
C) A photo of your present facility.

Can you meet that? I will ask my buddy that owns a auto repair shop if he could qualify, not sure what they mean by "B" as it would apply to him he hsa accounts with all the name brand parts whores auto zone, napa, federated, advanced auto parts, carquest etc.

Yeah all but B not 100% sure. I've got a Napa account. I'm sure it means like you need to be a dealer of another brand possibly? Like Honda, acdelco ect?

I just ordered 4 -81mm wiseco piston kits from rocky mtn and got them in 3 days free shipping in fact. Might try them for the 81mm pistons? I also ordered wrist pin bearings as well, got 1 with my shipment, the other 9 shipped to me today. They are also wiseco. The kits came with everything but the wrist pin bearing or upper rod bearing however you prefer to term it(discontinued from honda they say)I posted a thread about maybe finding a replacement with the same dimensions here--
If anybody wants to do a group buy for the pistons I would order the needed 12, I would keep say 3 -4 for my stock and the rest I would sell here, any interest and I will pull the tripper on a purchase.
