A couple of years ago I remember seeing a OEM style stainless steel muffler for the FL350 on Ebay. If I remember correctly the guy had something like 100 units made up and was selling them for a couple hundred bucks. I assume it was one of you odyssey enthusiasts but I'm not sure. Here’s my question: Has anyone had experience with them, are they worth a dam, and are they still available since I don’t see them on ebay any longer. I was planning to put one on with a chrome DG and figured I’d get some feedback and a source for one if possible.

I bought one for like 180 shipped..put on a 350 that had a dg pipe that I put back to stock
Very good quality ..pretty quiet like stock
Prob not for performance gains ,,,if I remember correctly the guy said it was a higher flow design as well

I saw them on eBay a few months ago still

If you plan on using a stock style muffler, it wont be much louder if any than a stock pipe.

I looked at getting one a long time back and decide to attack a spare Stock silencer I had.

I ran my modified stock muffler / silencer 3 weeks ago for 4 full days of riding ((( Great ))).
It was a little poppie when idling and when backing off the throttle it was a little more gurgly (( if that spelt right)) running there was no real noise change.
But it did open the top end I was able to rev the out where I would hit the wall around 6500rpm but took it out to 7400

I did go up a jet size but went backwards with top end performance

if you do this be careful not to cut out the Spark arrester as It was a costly little exercise to put back.

""""NOTE""""" After fitting the mod the silencer it did run a lot hotter than the stock one. Will need to add a extra heat shield

But very happy with the outcome.

Never had a stock system on my 350,came with a DG pipe and silencer and it was loud as hell.Replaced the DG silencer with a FMF silencer and it made a big difference in loudness. Some others have done that as well

Mr2angry2, do you think you could look back at your ebay history and get me the sellers name on that muffler. I don't see them on ebay but a search of the sellers name might help.
Thanks

I tracked down the original seller through ebay and asked if had any more mufflers. His two word response, ..... not yet!
Not very informative but it does convey that he does NOT have any left and he MAY be getting more. Of course that's my interpretation and might not be accurate.
