i have some test sets of rings that are oem std 80mm & 2nd over 80.50mm. for std honda ART pistons.
they are brand new & ill send them free to someone/s who is willing to be the guinea pig . they do not have the notches for the pin in the ring groove. those would have to be cut or machined in BY YOU!
i got these from a very hiqh quality usa factory. im trying to source rings for our stock honda art pistons in our pilots.
i need real world reviews. i do not know how to cut that notch. i was going to ask a machinist buddy of mine but have not gotten around to it. the rings would be very reasonably priced if these work and can figure out the notch. if i have to have the factory make special tooling, which they said they would, the rings will cost more. ill probably have to pay for that tool up front, so the rings would initially cost more until that was paid for.
pm me your name & address and ill send them out to you free of charge. installation & use would need to be asap so i can figure out if i need a tool made. the only thing i ask is feedback on how these rings work & any info i need to make these rings work for us so that i can get them in. if someone can make a tool to cut the notch that would be great. otherwise ill have to figure that out, and ill have to pay someone to do it for me. im not a machinist.
USE THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK. as far as i can tell they will work fine. i just do not want you to blame me for POOF*KAAABOOOM***
