The above piece is cast aluminum and not very rigid. It is roughly 4 inches long and about 1/2 an inch wide at it's widest point. It is also about 1/16 of an inch thick.

It is for a trigger mechanism on a BB gun. Is it possible to duplicate out of steel? Would be able to send the original for duplication.

Thanks

You have to "right" click what you want first.
In drop down menu "left" click copy.
Then go to where you want to put it and "right" click.
Drop down menu comes up and "left" click "paste"

When I look at that I would say that it would have to be made out of 3 possibly 4 pieces and then welded together. Not sure that would be better than what you got because you said it is 1/16" thick. I don't think welded pieces that thin would be stronger. Probably less flex in that cast aluminum that you already got there. Just my opinion.

From what I can see...

...2 pieces cut on a cnc plasma or water jet, then welded together. You could even incorporate a key/tab feature to make the pieces fit together like a puzzle for easy orientation before welding.

If that thing is 4" long it looks thicker than 1/16" to me?
