I need a spark arrestor for my 81 FL250 stock exhaust pipe, I was going to make one but want to see if someone had one they didn't need.

Thanks,
Tim

Come to think of it, I've never actually seen an FL250 with the factory spark arrester still on there.

I've read they degrade performance of the FL250 significantly, are you just wanting one for legal purposes?

Make one.
Get a piece of aluminum thin wall pipe that fits the muffler end.
Put in a piece of screen.
Get a number and letter stamping set.
Stamp in what ever numbers or letters the terrorist state wants (see pics below).
Screw it on. Done !
Most of these clowns just have a badge and a gun but they think they're saving the world. They have never even seen an oddy.

Below are the pics of the spark arrestor that was on a bill's pipe on my brothers machine.
At one time this must have been a cali machine because it had cali stickers on it when I bought it.
We don't use it here. I just stuff a screen in the hole just in case a badge happy checks us. That would be a one in a million though because we have a pathetic amount of forest rangers and a territory larger than Russia to ride in.
If you want a machine gun then build one. Just make sure it has a silencer and you bury it in the bush, not take it home.
We have to take the law into our own hands boys. We're suppose to live in a "free" country.

What an awesome idea.
Always someone out there with more brains than me. No one has the lock on good ideas.
If to much back pressure you just add more plates.

Dang, now you guys got me worried. I think all my machines except the 250 have an arrestor. I don't ride in the summer when there's actual fire danger though.
