If I had the money right now I’d like to pick up a 2nd machine. Good luck with the sale!

Mud it's good to hear from you. Hope you are doing well. Sorry you are selling, but I understand. This site is slow nowadays, but still going. Good luck with the sale.

Can not wait to see what you do to it.
Please start a new thread to track changes.
I got the beer on ice in anticipation.

To be honest, NOT A LOT! I was initially planning to swap a Rotax into this beast, but I just can’t see myself doing so right now. This pilot is in much better shape than my first pilot. It’s still got 170psi compression, runs great! And all the suspension linkages, power steering, and fuel lines seem nice and ready to go. Even the inside of the tank look like new.

I think this is a Hosier Engine which may be ported, 81.5mm, has a Torque pipe, pwk39, staged intake, PB clutch, and speedchaser head. So it should be fun!

The one thing maybe I will post is my learning skill at plastic welding Polyethylene. These fenders are all complete but have lots of cracks and zip ties.

In short I got a great deal, I think!

I just saw recently some plastic repair stuff, I don't recall if it was here or where, but looked impressive, I think is was more an epoxy repairing auto bumpers

Bummer also good news.
I would check a few things over before running hard. I would double check if mudd has not already done it he may have.
Full range of motion front and rear to be sure no issues. Check your rear toe at ride height change to full compresion. At speed you want it to track during compression under load. Go with a slight toe out. Also check camber if you make a toe change. Any adjustments may have impact on axle clearences as long as it sets there no issues. Does the shock lower eye have hiems?

Also check that ball joint bind. I think you get where I'm going. If you do any work on rear consider moving it back an inch. I would also consider plating that joint by frame mount hiem on upper arm. It tends to bend there. If not plate add bar and blend back into arm.
