This is one of 6 super-lites built in 1989 for the 1990 racing season by Bill Varnes (Mirage Racing Products) in Santee, CA. I’ve owned this unit since 2000 and at my age it’s time to move on and allow someone else the pleasure. Very responsive, stable and rugged and performs best on race gas. Overall length is 10.5 feet, height is 53 inches and is built on a 64 inch wheel base tracking 64 inches wide. It features a liquid cooled Honda FL350 Pilot Engine (.040 over) with Walbro slide block carburetor, lockout adjustable Powerbloc clutch to a custom billet aluminum F/R transmission. CNC on-board bias adjustable disc braking, bead locks, Fox 2.0 Pro Series shocks, pyrometer, Pyrotech cages and harness, Cobra seat and Q/R steering wheel. Overall travel is minimum 11 inches to belly pan. All panels are fastened with Dzus fasteners. Also included are a host of spare (new and used) parts including Wiseco piston, 2 gasket sets, fuel pump, coil, jets, new primary clutch, misc. clutch parts, transmission gears, axle, CV joint, axle boots, belts, filters, control arm bushings, tie rods, brake discs, front wheel and tire, rear wheel and tire, clutch puller, nitrogen pressure and fill gauges and technical manuals. More detail pictures are available on request. Means and cost of shipping become the sole responsibility of the buyer but assistance or arrangements can be negotiated. Shipping weight would be approximately 830 lbs. plus spare parts weighing approximately 120 lbs. Unit is located one hour north of the Manitoba, North Dakota border in central Canada. Successful bidder is required to make deposit to Paypal, US $1000 within 48 hours of close of auction, and the balance by guaranteed bank instrument or cash in person within 7 days and prior to release to common carrier. A guy a few towns over from me won it. Strange, for living on the east coast there are a bunch of exotics within 20 miles of me, my briggs, brooks EEE, this mirage buggy, and a couple of drakarts (that I know of). Just need to get a litle racing action.
