I don't see what you mean by rough??? A few scratches on the fender? the frame lok ok up top, and the sideboards are not chewed up too bad
If it has good compression go for it!

Hey I am mad lol
I have dumped alot of money into my ody to get it like I want it! I don't care about how much LOL I will do the same with my pilot! Just with the economy now it will just take a little longer to do! LOL

If I ever buy another ODY it will be a parts/backup machine!!! or one that is built as well as mine...

I think you could find a better one for that price. That one has lived out side for a long time look how faded the seat, plastic, airbox lid and hoses are. All the fuel lines look rotted the frame up front is bent where the bumper is missing look how rusted all the bolts are I would guess the cv's are rusted in the tranny,if you could get it for 2,000 I think it would be worth it but I wouldn't go over 2,5000.

Also I agree on getting a Pilot you have to dump allot of money into a Ody to make it as good as a stock Pilot. I to started with a Ody.

Look at the main cage bolts and safety net they have over spray on them from someone spray painting them.

I didn't even notice till it was pointed out.

Also on the head net frame. Maybe it was just a touch up to worn paint??

Strip it bead blast & powder coat it & it'll be brand new! :-)

my only 2 cents on the odys is that parts for them seem to be more available at lower cost on ebay if you are patient. It would depend to me on how much the 350 is you are looking at getting. If you are just learning how to wrench on these the 350 may be a low cost starting point as well. no fun to buy a pilot and then trash it while learning how to work on it. I got my first ody for $750 so that was a no brainier for me. If you are careful with it, you should be able to clean it up and sell at profit as well when you come a across a nice pilot.
