Interesting, only thing holding the gearcase are the 4 bolts on the frame, the upper mounts are floating in space. I wonder how much twisting the case will take before it starts cracking (if it isn't already cracked somewhere).

Chromoly tubing, 1980, designed to be raced. Something about those three mixed together that doesn't make sense......

The rear looks GAY to me..

I'd buy it for 500 bux though, strange that the drivetrain appears to be totally stock.

I was just looking at that odyssey on ebay, I noticed the reduction unit as well. it will tear the other bolts out and crack the case without the upper mount attached. it looks like that chassis would be setup with a suspension considering the way the tail is. it also looks like he has had the same belt from 1980 as well it looks like t wore down to 3/4". it mush have been for flat track racing because of the under frame exhaust. I would think off road you would smash it on all kinds of stuff. but why does it have off road tires instead of flat track tires. something doesnt seem right here

So the seller is reading the comments here?

Whats he going to do once a buyer makes it to this site and someone tells them it was relisted hiding the known defects?

I don't know if he is or isn't. I just know that honesty is something alot of eBay sellers are lacking. I just got pinched on a few FL250 parts that I really needed. Sucks.
