Not sure if anyone on here would need this for anything but I wanted to give you guys first dibs. I don't know the history of this Engine. I do know that it runs great but it just isn't what I want in my Ody. It has tons of torque just missing the top end pull that I'm looking for. They go for about a grand on ebay new and the block alone is listed for $200. I think $450 would be a fair price. I'm not dead set on that so if I'm way too high let me know. I would rather trade it for a running 440 that has everything I need (wires etc.) to swap it into my FL350. It has electric start, a Comet clutch and I just put in a new air filter, plugs and changed the oil today. I'm going to take it out tomorrow since it's supposed to rain all day and I have some free time. I know if I don't take it out now and put it for sale Spring will be here and I still won't have a sled motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) in. lol
2 pics from my phone Wednesday when I first got it home. The only thing that's rusty on it is the exhaust. Fuel tank can go with it too.

not being smart but i could use that for my sewer jetter  , my 16hp B&S took a dump last year, broke the case, we've just use the new one but I'd love to have a spare again.

I will have to check shaft size, do you know what size output shaft yours is?

Cool vid. I still do love the sound of the Briggs with straight pipes, it is really badass for a lawnmower Engine.

That briggs is actually done quite well, to bad its such a small motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )). you will be quite happy with a skidoo motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )).

Technically the Briggs is a larger Engine than a FL350 since it is 480cc . :-) The biggest issue with dropping one in a 350 like this is that the gearbox is geared too low to get any speed out of it. Mine was geared at 4:1 which was too high, but somewhere around 7:1 would probably be perfect. I think the 350 gearbox is like 10:1.

Well...everything is disconnected. I just need to wait for one of my buddies to stop by to help me lift this thing off the Ody. It's not super heavy, but it is a bit awkward by yourself. Last thing I want to do is drop it on my foot  lol. So if anyone wants it, it should be ready to go this weekend. I'll get some more pics when I get it out of the machine too.

Sorry I took so long but after some research I found out the shaft size.
Shaft Size: Tapered 3-51/64"
Here's some more specs for everyone...
It's OHV, cast iron cylinder sleeves, low oil shutdown, Height: 17.2", Depth (Less Shaft): 12.3", Width: 16.1" and weight is 135lbs.
