It with some regret but I am selling my 89 pilot to focus on karting. Engine has less than one hour on fresh top end. Rear fenders are essentially new. It is all stock. If interested I can send pictures. I would like to get $5,500 but am willing to negotiate.

Is the parking brake intact or do you have to use the rock. Is that a revolt fender or quad is in the pic. Not bashing just asking. Good looking 89

good eye - emergency brake needs some maintenance it has been sitting for 2 years in my barn. Not sure what you mean re fender. the fenders are pilot fenders if that is what you mean. If you are seriously interested i can provide more detail on condition of pilot. I brought it home so i can also take a picture of anything you want to see.

He is talking about the fender on the right of pic 119.
It is of another machine not the pilot.. Looks to be from another quad or Redline...
again it is on the border of right side pic 119
Regards Go Oddy

Got it - that is another pilot. I have about 8 other friends with Pilots. We ride and rally race each other up in Roscoe NY.

Pilot is still for sale. I adjusted emergency brake - works perfect. See listing on Ebay as well for updated pictures - I cleaned it up pretty good.

Justsayno, you are pretty close on the reserve (it is actually lower). I think I under priced it - after cleaning it up and adjusting the brakes it is looking and running excellent.

that's close to me-the border for me is like 1 hr tops off Interstate 287/ny thruway.

Whats the current compression on that ride, and the piston size? I see in the thread it sat for 2 years, was it started, and if not was the fuel drained?Have by chance you performed a leak down test on the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? ))/I ask these questions only due to the 2 year sitting period. Thanks for all the information as I am always looking for Pilot's to purchase.

I have not had the compression checked since the rebuild. It was a compressions test that led to the rebuild though. I rely on a couple friends for some of the more technical stuff. I am not aware of a leak down test. It did not sit completely dormant for 2 years. If I am close to you feel free to come by and check it out.

This Pilot is still on the market. I have fixed the emergency brake and adjusted front and rear disc brakes. All are in working order. It is clean and everything works perfect except for the tight choke cable (which I'll probably get to next if we have another rainy weekend).
