Im working on pricing I had to pay for the molds and prototypes and they have a minimum order. Im going to sell them to POOA members for cost and what doesnt sell here I will add 10-20 bucks to and sell them on ebay. Im not doing this to make money I have 5 Pilots and want to keep them running forever, the price for a set will be around $100 and if we ever do another order the price will come down 20-25% because the molds are already made.

I will only sell these as a set I don't want a bunch of partial sets laying around.

Ok guy's I need a little help I only had used hoses to send them to copy and they thought the ID was .62" these hoses are thicker than OEM and seem a little hard to get on, I got them right on with a little plumbers grease, you cant push them straight on you have to rock them on if you know what i mean.

so what im asking is should we make the ID bigger or is .62" what it should be? It would be nice to get this right before I make the order.

yes they make all colors but you have to do a minimum order of each which wont be cost efective, you cant get all of us to agree on anything so I made the decision to go with red and screw you guys if you don't like it. :-)

I decided to have a few of the smaller 2 bend hoses (from head to pump) made up separate to sell just for the relocated radiator and 500 guy's, this is the only hose I have ever had fail it happened to me twice once while someone else was riding one of my machines and they didnt know the smell of antifreeze or the feel of a Engine losing power when it gets hot and they melted it down, and once it happened to me but I caught it in time, that hose is a pain to change while the Engine is in the Pilot.

you cant use the silicone hoses with fuel or oil I asked.

adnoh or hoser can you use your calipers and check what ID you think the hose should be? all my stuff is in storage and a pain to get to. i believe it should be .6875" or .75"

or speed can you measure the fitting on your cool head and let me know what you think the ID of the hose should be?

searching the net it seems 5/8" .62" or 3/4" .75" seem to be standard sizes for heater hose.

I measured the hose barb that's cast onto the Pilot cylinder it measures .755 I measured the ID of the Pilot short hose both ends seem to measure about .723 as you know its rubber, old and just a guess but I would call it .723 I bet if you cut the hose and measured it in the middle where it was not stretched over the hose barb and clamped all those years its actually smaller, we would need LEE for that measurement not cutting any good hoses here :-)

If it where me, I would make the ID 17mm.
OD is not as important, but I would have used 25mm.

But that's just me;-)
I think what afastcar has done is great.
