Guys,

I need a master cylinder for the 85 FL350.

Tried rebuilding mine, but it is just a piece of crap.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Please define "Piece of Crap".

Are the piston bore's worn beyond service limits?
Holes stripped?
Having trouble getting it primed?

These things are notorious for being a pain in the ass to prime after rebuild!

Holes are stripped. Check
- managed to get one of the screws drilled out but the other side is beyond repair.
(using a screw with about 4 threads on it to get the bad side to bolt down, for now)

Front side is getting absolutely no pressure when I try to bench bleed it. Check
- it does look like the piston bore is wore out

That bites!

There's one or two on evilbay but maybe one of the other 350 guys have one at a decent price that is rebuildable. Good luck. :-)

yeah I have been watching EGay, but not liking what I am seeing on there right now. Only one half way decent looking unit with what looks like bad screws on the cap.

There used to be 4 or 5 good units on there a few weeks ago but they are all gone now.

The search continues.....

:-)
