Hey all, I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust system and air intake. Looks to me that I can just put a k&N right on the carb, but not sure if anyone has done this. If anyone has some goodies for sale please contact me at chagest@lowandmean.com
Thanks,
Chris

Do not put a K&N directly on the end of you carb!

That is unless you are into dumping money into you top end and having to rebuild it because dirt and crap passes straight through a K&N filter used by itself.

Another reason you shouldn't do this is that the opposite end of your carb needs to be supported by the intake box or some other appropriate support. Vibration and bouncing of the vehicle can and will tear your intake boot. When this happens you will get an air leak and then you will burn a nice hole through the top of your piston!

If you must modify your intake system, do a search here on the site an look to see what others have done. There is a reason you don't see others doing it.
