Post subject:  Attaching race nets???

I am contemplating getting my Ody race ready for a few whiplash races this summer... just for the fun of it and because it's something I always wanted to do as a kid...

All the photo's I have seen of the side nets show them Zip tied to the roll bars... I don't see how you get in and out with these zip ties... Is there a better way to do it??? Remember I want to get out fast in case I have to... don't want to be cutting zippies every time...
what did you guys use back in the day???

i forgot what they are called, but its what i use on my tents; its a ball with a bungee... ACK the name escapes me. But here they are

Also, using velcro strips glued to the frame and nets with a couple of those on the door is helpful maybe?

Just thoughts?

RH side - tye wrapped in place
LH side - top is tye wrapped, bottom is mounted to removeable bar that uses Toyota seat belt ends to attatch to the frame. Total cost of mounts is under $10. Will try and get some photos for you.
