OK Adnoh here is some turbovision just for you!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vs5BNJn7kL4
The rest of ya'll are welcome to watch too!!! LOL
I adjusted the pre load 3 notches down or tighter, which is about 3/8" so I want the opinions of those who know better than I do! My rear shocks should be here today so I am going to start taking my rear apart to get them ready to mount!
I hate to admit it but I am having some kinda fun, and don't even have to leave the yard! LOL

How do you think they feel?

You going to make it where I will be riding this trip, Glamis or where ever?

They feel like they are crow hoping... not to bad just right here around the house! I am sitting here waiting for the ups guy to bring me my rear shocks! Eveery thing is out of the way and these are ready to install!!! I hope he hurries up LOL

I am not sure about headed that way! I am almost tempted to throw the paddles on and drive the pickup out there, and camp/bunk with someone! It will cost 1100.00 in fuel alone to bring the toy hauler, and about half that just for the truck... I don't have enough saved up to do that yet! I am trying to get the toyhauler and pickup ready for a 2-4 week trip in feb/march to catch the Saboda G/P and a whiplash race or two...

Finding loads in that direction is scarce???

buster brown is here!!!

The FOX airs?

You need to document exactly what he did to them...

I have no idea what he did to them??? I will ask him after the holidays! I am still looking for a good tire combo that will help keep the power to the ground and keep the front tires on the ground!!! That seems to be the biggest issue I have now is the front lifting enough to keep the fronts a few inches off the ground...
I either need to have less hookup and let the rears "spin" so I can turn, or maybe a longer travel a-arm to let sag keep them on the ground... I am going to drag the ody out of the shed and try the stryker tires I liked so much on it!
OR make a tool kit out of pvc pipe and mount it up on the bumper like Brooks Suggested... I am not sure what that will do to my air time though??? Don't want the yard dart effect to come back...

Man, Turbo vision just keeps getting better. Glad to see you happier with them. If you have not tried the set up with the orignal front setting you may want to give it a try and work back to the new setting. This should help a little on the transfer. The new preload setting is at what compression setting. If "one" than decrease preload on clip at a time untill you need to increse compression. If ithe cornoring gets worse than go back. If the corning improves than you can increase front compression to fine tune. This should help thu the rollers as well. This will also help on balance transfer under accerlation. If the rear had low speed compression than one to two clicks would resolve. The new set up defently apeares to handle better. You now are using all the travle with out excessive bottoming. A touch more rear compression would be nice. Rebound looks good. I would love to see a woops section to see if the reboud would pack. This is one reason for maybe a little more compression in the rear. Lighting up the front poundage will help thu. I hope you have been writing things down in case things get screwed up. It sure look like a new approach angle is warrented for that revers tree run. Or one could use some trail breaking for over steer sooner on accel to tighten up the cornor. Trail breaking with the fronts reduces rear tire traction. Just remember not to lock up the front or it will push or understeer longer untill the front tire regains traction. Reducing the front preload helps with this by letting more weight tranfer forward under traill breaking. If you experence front one side dive under trail breaking increase compression one click at a time will resolve with the softer front preload poungade( reducing the staic preload to which you have increased by three clicks from base line). Keep having fun and finding new setting that can be applied to many different ridding condition. Plus I really like the video.

Well I looked over the pilot real well and decided to change my A-arms to the newer set of stock arms I had! The ones that were on the pilot when I bought it were beat up and almost bowed up in the middle. I feared the tweaking was going to effect the ride... and it did! I now have some sag, and am back to the original settings with a zero preload... it rides real good and am leaving it alone for now! I really am craving some desert riding and hoping I can find a load westbound...
Until then I will just roam my pastures LOL

Wow I haven't updated this in months! SORRY!!!
I just recently installed some fox coil overs on the rear that matched the front coil overs! I am liking them so far! I am headed to an off road park tomorrow or sunday to get a better feel in some rough stuff!

Did you go back to the stock mounting bracket, or are they long enough for the bolt on bracket?

No they fit back into the stock mounts... I went from 8 inches of travel to 7 1/2 with these... I am hoping to go give them a good running today in the rough hill country!
They have rezzies, and are adjustable from a clicker, and the snap ring adjusts the preload...
