Unsprung weight is a huge part of racing it's allot to type out I found this artical that explains it well. http://www.mb1suspension.com/id102.html |

bullnerd wrote: Yeah I was thinking front tire...Duh, Yea I haven't even thought much of what I'm going to do with the fronts yet! Probably no taller than 25"! I have to see how the EEE will respond with the new rear tires and better traction! The EEE does push like a pilot, but I am hoping to have better control and response than what I have now! |

What was the tires that Cowboy ran on the rear of his Pilot think they were on a 12" rim or will a 12" rim work on yours? |

I got these mounted yesterday! Hadn't put the gps to them yet, but will soon! I no longer have too much wheel spin!!! They hook up well coming out of a corner! Almost too well!!! Need to re-learn how to drive the triple eee now! Too much lift on the front and hard to keep the wheels on the ground!!!

Any weight gains between new and old? I bet you can cut off a few pounds weight pretty easy on them and not affect traction a bit. You need to hook up with slickrick and do some testing see how you compare. How many ply are they? |

Did weigh them they are 37 pounds! One pound heavier than the old ones! One inch shorter too! I could groove them and drop the weight. No I haven't done any clutch tuning yet!!! I need to buy the tools and stuff first! I wouldn't know where to start either!!! |

We spent most of friday and some more money welding up NEW cracked tubing, and brocken tabs!!! Seems like every time I fix one thing it leads to something else breaking on this Engine mount!!! I sure wish I knew who did this fab work so I could put a knot on his head! Spindle finally shattered, so hopefully I can come up with $$$$ to have new ones made! I'm told a cnc machinist should be able to match what I have??? Hopefully give me a better bolt pattern too so I'm not chasing odd wheels! Eventually these bugs will get cleared up (I hope) so I can work on the suspension, then the clutching!!! Neverendingf'ingproject!!! |

Oldmanody wrote: excuse me - my ((Bad Word)) mistake Thank You very much Curtis!!! I will contact speed and see if he has time to knock this out... I have the next race in a month, and would love to use the triple eee to finish this series... I am thinking of asking Speed to duploicate what I have, but to change the hole pattern of the lug studs to a more common wheel... If Speedchaser can't do it I will let you know! Again Thanks for the offer!!! |

I had this done in San Antonio! $114 for 2 square feet of 3/4" 6061 aluminum to be cut to the 7 1/2" disc! I then had the broken hud welded up and NEW holes drilled for the 4 on 4" pattern! This was used to bolt the new adapter to the hub! I now have a 156 on 4 holl pattern which will make it easier to find wheels and tires! |
