Went out to garage to work on a driven unit and an old HRD. Do some testing to compare to the ALT rework. The Driven had a ton of hours on it. This Driven is one that came with the machine when I bought at LS back in 2000. I took it off and replaced it with good parts when they were available and cheap. So time to play with it and see what I can do with it.

Back home from lake and thought I would post a few more pics of taking it apart and back together.
I use stuff from garage to use as a tool. FL 670 has made a nice one for those wanting something nicer and most likey easier to use.

OLD HRD Drive and Cleaned up Driven installed ready for testing.

Basic tool can be used for stock drive as well.

The set up of drive and driven are not listed at this time. Generic info on this is different spring in drive and driven and no shims and 14 disc in pucks.

I had some lunch and decided to go out front and do a quick hit like I did before with the ALT rework.

I did notice my Vapor first stage over rev (Shift 1) light (amber)came on. This is set to come on at 7900. So I'm close to were it need to be on the Drive spring.

I went and rode today. Same area as before and ran some test. I rode 58 minutes of machine time and burned 3.5 gal is is where my fuel light comes on.

The results were a little sporadic. I now have the shocks dialed in with a drive and driven set up I like for this ridding area.

Well off to the next project, Some rear shock rework
